Smoking is particularly bad for people with asthma. Although bad for everyone, cigarettes can cause greater problems for those with asthma. Asthmatic lungs are extremely sensitive, and should not be exposed to smoke. Someone who has asthma should not only avoid smoking, but should also try to avoid being exposed to people smoking in their vicinity.
Take your time and build up the stamina of your body and lungs gradually. Don’t exercise too hard all at once or you’ll end up quitting your workouts due to your asthma. Make sure that smoking does not ever occur near an asthma sufferer. People who desire to smoke should go outside or away from the individual with asthma. Heavy smokers can cause a person with asthma to have a full blown asthma attack, because they still carry the smell of smoke in their clothes.
